фин., юр., брит. закон "О финансовых услугах", 1986 г. (закон, являющийся важной частью законодательства Великобритании о компаниях; вступил в силу в 1988 г.; регулирует рынок ценных бумаг и инвестиционную деятельность, условия официального выпуска и листинга ценных бумаг, правила раскрытия информации и точности предоставления информации при процедуре листинга; ввел обязательное лицензирование инвестиционных учреждений саморегулирующимися организациями; определил понятие инвестиций достаточно широко: по определению закона, оно включает не только акции, облигации, государственные ценные бумаги, но и различного рода сертификаты и иные инструменты (документы), удостоверяющие признание долга, паи в коллективных инвестиционных схемах, опционы "колл" (на покупку) или распоряжение указанными инвестициями и т. д.; закон дает органам власти право на получение от финансового учреждения информации о клиенте; положения закона дополняются законом "О финансовых услугах и рынках" от 2000 г.)
